Counseling and Psychological Services provide career advising,
psychological counseling, self-help workshops and nutrition
assessment and counseling. Certified Health Education Specialists
at Student Health Centers provide individual assistance with
stress reduction time management, tobacco cessation, and alcohol
and drug evaluation. Peer counseling programs can facilitate
the prevention of drug abuse by empowering student athletes
with a sense of participation in solving their problem (Bernard,
1988).
