Chris Guinty, J.D.
President & CEO
One of the earliest team members of the Company, Chris was formerly the COO and legal counsel for Drug Free Sport leading day-to-day operations, business development, and legal affairs. He is credited with directing DFSI through its critical years of record growth in clients / revenues and positioning it as the industry leader in sport drug testing and education. Chris oversaw Drug Free Sport’s ownership transition in 2017 to Valesco Industries and international expansion by merging with International Doping Tests & Management in 2018. Chris led Drug Free Sport through the COVID pandemic by deploying decentralized health care collection services which resulted in record growth in 2021. Most recently, Chris is leading Drug Free Sport’s efforts with unifying U.S. thoroughbred horseracing anti-doping by forming the Horseracing Integrity and Welfare Unit.
Possessing a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, Chris is admitted to the Missouri Bar and is active in many organizations. He clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice and was an associate at Dentons Law Firm prior to joining Drug Free Sport. His corporate legal practice focused on mergers and acquisitions.
Chris has been an active member of several boards of directors including serving on the board for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City (Sport Section). He earned his bachelor’s in criminal justice administration (pre-law) and aviation technology (flight training) from the University of Central Missouri and completed executive coursework at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
