Amateur Sport Senior Program Manager

Michaela’s passion for sports and medicine collided soon after high school, through her personal experience playing softball in the Kansas City area. Personal injury then paved the way for her interest in serving others through wellness, earning a bachelor’s in exercise science at the University of Kansas and a master’s of art with emphasis in sport and exercise psychology at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. A certified athletic trainer for 20 years, Michaela uses her insights to relate to her peer-level athletic health care clients as an Amateur Sport Senior Program Manager. In this position, she stays invested in student-athlete lives, while ensuring safe sport an developing relationships with collegiate sports medicine teams around the United States. Michaela also volunteers as a Halftime Commissioner for Upward Sports, continuing her work with the overall development of student-athletes.
