Dedication, perseverance and attention to detail – the same traits that help athletes succeed also put them at risk of developing eating disorders. The best chance of recovery comes when everyone involved with the athlete joins together and forms a treatment team with a unified focus. Eating disorder specialist Jessica Setnick will present the foundational needs for a multi-disciplinary eating disorder treatment team and best practices for managing an athlete’s nutritional rehabilitation and return to sport.

Jessica Setnick has one of the most recognizable names in the eating disorders treatment world, thanks to her engaging and charismatic presentation style, her unique point of view, and her genuine ability to connect on a deep level, even from the podium.
Combining a background in anthropology with a master’s degree in sports nutrition, she has spent her career developing eating disorder treatment protocols in every level of hospital care, on college campuses, and with every age group. Her publications include the Eating Disorders Boot Camp: Training Workshop for Professionals, The Eating Disorders Clinical Pocket Guide, and The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Pocket Guide to Eating Disorders.
